Spongefest is a music festival which was hosted at the Worksop Rugby Club in Nottinghamshire on the 14th June 2025. All proceeds from the event were donated to the registered charity 'In Sam's Name mental health charity'
Two stages were dedicated to playing music from up and coming local artists, together with tribute acts covering the music of Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, Amy Winehouse, and the ska scene was covered by the excellent band 'The Moderators'
Phil Daniels from Quadrophenia fame, was also in attendance supporting The Moderators I believe.
The whole day was good fun, the majority of the music was very good, the sun was out and the atmosphere was brilliant, the beer was fairly priced so we took advantage of that.
