BRYAN ADAMS, ROLL WITH THE PUNCHES WORLD TOUR

The mrs won tickets for this gig, Bryan Adams at the Rock n Roll Circus in Sheffield, supported by the amazing Melanie C from the 90s pop sensation The Spice Girls.

This concert is part of Brian Adams UK leg of his world tour, and to coincide with the launch of his brand new album 'Roll With The Punches’ which is also officially released today 29th August 2025.

The Rock n Roll Circus was the perfect backdrop to host world class live music with an immersive circus experience, and none other than Bryan Adams headlining this Friday night show.

The performance from Bryan Adams was in my opinion amazing, his energy on stage and the chart topping anthems he performed were absolutely outstanding for this iconic big top event.

When did we all get so old?, Bryan Adams well into his sixties now and is still belting out the hits just like they were in the charts yesterday, magnificent.

Joining Bryan Adams was the stunning Mel C, who with over 20 million records sold, and chart topping hits like "Never Be the Same Again" and "I Turn to You”, together with a few Spice Girls tunes thrown into the mix, was a perfect blend of nostalgia and together with her top tier vocals, she well and truly proved what a true pop legend she is, and at 51 years of age, she moved, danced, and had the energy of someone half her age, truly amazing performance to watch.

I enjoyed Newton Faulkner’s set, but I especially liked Deco, there blend of 80’s synth pop undertones really struck a cord with me, and I really hope these lads make it really big, there first album well worth a listen.

Crystal Tides and The Crooks are now on my Spotify list, I listened to Cassyette, very photogenic, but what a row, had to leave early, far to much screaming for my taste, but what do I know, its probably my age.

Charlie Floyd's music was just Ok, But he’s a little bit miserable looking, in fact all the band looked like they were bored and couldn’t wait to get off stage, these were my least favourite of the artists I watched, and I don’t think they really put on a good show to be honest.

Circus Performers

Aerialists, fire performers, contortionists, acrobats, stilts walkers, and tightrope walkers all perform at the circus, It really is an amazing venue.

Final Thoughts

By pure chance, we met up with one of our friends ex husbands, he was there with his sister who turned out be lovely. We spend the entire day and night with them and we had some really good laughs, so glad we met up with them as it made the day more fun.

The circus entertainers were on good form and the high wire displays were good to watch.

The Rock n Roll circus is an excellent venue and no doubt we will be back for more sometime soon, altogether we had an outstanding night, I drew the short straw as usual, (is there ever a long one?) and was not drinking because I was driving, the mrs got well and truly hammered though, but suffered badly all day Saturday.
